PLANS is about meeting people in real life. Most plans are simply fun — but meeting new people always carries some risk. Here's how to look after yourself.

Meet in public places

Choose busy, well-lit public spots — parks, cafés, courts, venues. Don't meet at someone's home, and don't share yours.

Tell someone where you're going

Share the plan link with a friend: where, when, and who you're meeting. Check in when you get home.

Don't share sensitive information

Keep your address, workplace, financial details and phone number private until you're comfortable. Never send money.

Use your judgment

If something feels off, it's okay to leave — at any time, without explanation. Arrange your own transport so you can go when you want.

Report suspicious behavior

Report plans, people or messages that break our guidelines. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team.

Block anyone, anytime

Blocking hides you from each other and removes them from plans you host. They aren't notified.

How PLANS helps

Approximate locations only. Your exact location is never stored or shown. Plan areas are approximate; hosts name public places, not addresses.
Temporary group chats. Coordinate without swapping phone numbers. Chats close after the plan.
Leave anytime. Leave any plan in two taps.
Hosts can remove people from their plans.
Report and block from any profile, plan or message.
Rate limits and spam protection slow down bad actors.

What we can't promise

We don't run background checks or verify identities, and we can't monitor what happens at a plan. We can't guarantee anyone's behavior. Please use the same care you would meeting anyone new.

After a bad experience

Report it in the app so we can act. If a crime occurred, contact local police; we cooperate with valid legal requests. Consider reaching out to local support organizations if you need help.
