Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Urban Park Rangers as we explore the tradition of luminarias—simple yet beautiful paper lanterns used across Latin America to honor community, culture, and light. Participants will create their own luminarias and learn practical urban gardening techniques inspired by plants commonly found in Hispanic and Latinx communities. This hands‑on program blends art, heritage, and nature for all ages.
