Woodlawn Wednesdays: Forest Restoration and Invasive Removal

Hands-on forest restoration in the Northeast Forest at Woodlawn. We remove the invasive plants crowding out the young native trees regenerating here, and protect what is already coming back. Tools, gloves and guidance provided - no experience needed. Meet at Woodlawn Playground; we walk in together.Dates include Wednesdays weekly from September 2nd - September 30th. Dates are 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, and 9/30.Space is limited to 30 volunteers each week. Groups of 6 or more should email noel@vancortlandt.org. Ages 15+ welcome; minors need a waiver.Register for a session
